Social drivers /music industry

Some of the interesting social drivers have not been about cutting edge profit maximisation for business communities. In the music business, the Indie music and downloading industry have risen from the ashes of the Big Five Music labels. This is driven , not only by the technology , but by an anti-corporate feeling by young people who view this as payback for long term greed and oligarchic monopolies. This antiauthoritanism is part of the social driver towards Online communities of practice.
